Lake McDonald is the crown jewel of Glacier National Park. Located on the western side of the national park, Lake McDonald is a cannot miss destination as the Going-to-the-Sun Road parallels the eastern shore. Sacred Dancing Cascade, tucked away along the Going-to-the-Sun Road on the west side of Glacier National Park. After spending the day on Lake McDonald, a quick jaunt to Avalanche Falls accompanied by a stroll through the Trail of the Cedars, we stopped at the Sacred Dancing Cascade.
