Paddling into the Blue: as we move into Spring shoulder season, Stella and I are already dreaming about stand up paddle boarding, and kayaking in the Big Mango. “Paddling into the Blue” is in reference to our most recent trip to Bear Lake, located equally on the Utah and Idaho boarder. Bear Lake is known as the “Caribbean of the Rockies” for its turquoise-blue waters. On this day, we paddled from Bear Lake State Park Marina south towards Rendezvous Beach, which was roughly a 16 mile paddle trip.
